March is here and that means it’s time for our monthly Celebrity DUI / DWI Round Up! If you missed our January Celebrity DWI / DUI Round Up, you can check it out here.
At Levow DWI Law, P.C., our experienced attorneys have successfully represented many clients, including several celebrities, who were arrested for DWI or DUI charges in the State of New Jersey. However, you will not find our clients on the round up list because we are dedicated to defending their rights and protecting their privacy. Even if a client did find themselves in the spotlight, our years of experience in DUI and DWI law would allow us to effectively handle the situation. When celebrities get arrested, many fall on the sword so quickly, even though their cases are defendable and they could beat the charges against them. At Levow DWI Law, P.C., we have had great success with celebrity representation, and keeping them off the list that you're about to read. We pride ourselves on the privacy of our clients and the thoroughness of our representation.
That being said, celebs frequently appear in the news after being arrested on charges of Driving Under the Influence (DUI) or Driving While Intoxicated (DWI). In this post, we have compiled a list of a few noteworthy people who were arrested and in the news for DUI or DWI charges during the month of February. This month’s list includes TV / Movie celebs as well as the lead singer of a band you may know of.
Actor Will Patton, of the classic film “Remember The Titans,” was arrested earlier in February on charges of DUI. According to reports, Patton was arrested on the night of February 24th after being stopped in Isle of Palms, South Carolina and failing a field sobriety test. Will Patton played one of the coaches in “Remember The Titans” and also starred in the films “Armageddon” and “Gone in 60 Seconds”. Additionally, Patton is currently starring on the TNT series “Falling Skies”.
Lyle Boudreaux, who stars in the CMT reality TV series “Party Down South,” was arrested in Lafayette, Louisiana just a week before Mardi Gras on suspicion of DUI. It was reported that Lyle was stopped by police on Sunday, February 8th after making a turn without using a turning signal. Apparently, the TV star was arrested and taken to jail after refusing to take a breathalyzer test.
Marcus T. Paulk, who formerly starred in the TV sitcom “Moesha,” was arrested the night before Super Bowl XLIX in Scottsdale, AZ on DUI charges. According to a TMZ report, Paulk was pulled over by police after driving dangerously close to emergency vehicles. The former child star reportedly failed a field sobriety test and blew a .109 on a breathalyzer after telling police that he had been drinking and smoking marijuana earlier that day. Paulk pled guilty to a DUI charge on Monday, February 9th.
