When our lawyers are in Hoboken to meet a client or attend a hearing, we love to dine in this wonderful city. Over the years the food scene has really improved in Hoboken. In fact, some of the local eateries have become famous thanks to reality TV! Many tourists to the city come specifically to see these pop culture landmarks.
With that being said, here are some of the restaurants and eateries that we believe top out Hoboken's best places to eat list!
Located at 95 Washington St, Hoboken, NJ 07030, this bakery became famous thanks to the reality TV show "Cake Boss". Our lawyers often swing by to for a sweet treat! We also love Birthday season at the office so we often order an elaborate cake from them!
Carlo's Bakery is a family-owned bakery that was opened in 1910. The business has expanded greatly due to the popularity of the show and the fact that the cakes are awesome. The local Hoboken business has been featured on several national publications including The Knot, the Today Show, Modern Bride, and the Food Network.
The store is pretty much busy all day. However, we often find its peak hours of waiting to be served are 3pm to 9pm. We recommend you head there early for your morning cannoli!
This is a must see and do in Hoboken. We recommend the Canolli!
Located at 300 Washington St., Hoboken, NJ 07030, Mamoun's Falafel is one of the best places to go to enjoy local Middle Eastern food. Our attorneys are big fans of the falafel, kebabs, and shawarma.
One thing to note, this is a chain, however it certainly has a local feel, and the quality is good enough to where you would not recognize that it is a chain. The majority of their other locations are in New Jersey.
The food is awesome, especially if you like Middle Eastern food.
Mamoun's is a lunchtime spot for the crowds. Its generally very busy between 1pm and 2pm. There is not much of a wait if you fancy going to dinner here. The restaurant opens at 11am.
Located at 120 Sinatra Dr., Hoboken, NJ 07030, Wicked Wolf Tavern makes the list despite being a casual sports bar. The pub grub is delicious here! Our attorneys can often be found indulging in excellent sandwiches.
The venue can also host some private events, and have room to host events up to 400 people. There is an outdoor area that has excellent views, and the atmosphere is always great in this establishment.
Its not overly busy at lunch time compared to other locations, however its evening crowd builds from about 5pm onward.
Located near the PATH train on 76 River St, Hoboken, NJ 07030, Texas Arizona is another great venue to grab a drink and a bite to eat. The venue is known for having a younger clientele as the evening progresses. It is a great place to catch a ball game after work or to go for happy hour. It is open for lunch, however it is not very busy.
The crowds usually start to come to this bar around 5pm and onward.
Just remember, please don't drink and drive.
So far most of our recommendations have been in the Southern section of Hoboken. Pilsener Haus & Biergarten is located in the North section of Hoboken at 1422 Grand St, Hoboken, NJ 07030. This is another bar with excellent authentic Austrian-Hungarian cuisine. The atmosphere is very friendly and the establishment is open floor space with communal tables.
They have a wonderful happy hour, and are open late night with food being served all the way through. The bar is not open for lunch, and opens around 5pm daily and is busy throughout the evening.
This bar has been dubbed "a top tap room for bier connoisseurs" by New Jersey Monthly, and rounds out our list.
